As a valued friend of Avante Mazda, we’d like you to be the first to know that after 20 years and two months providing Mazdas to the York Region and GTA we’ve decided to sell the dealership to an experienced auto executive, who will continue operations in the same spot.
We have been so honoured to serve you in the past 20 years. From starting as one of the Original Six GTA Mazda dealers and helping the brand grow and gain acceptance over that time, it has been a thrilling experience for my family, my valued employees and me. Many of them will stay on with the new ownership, where their positions have been protected under the new management. The land on which Avante Mazda is located has also been sold so it made sense at this time to also sell the dealership. I hope you understand and will continue to support the new team.
It is without a doubt a sad moment for me. So many people have helped Avante grow and prosper. This starts with our customers, who understood that our motto “Trust, without compromise” meant something important in our effort to operate transparently at all times. I wish I could thank each and every smiling and happy person who took delivery of a shiny new Mazda vehicle and came back again and again, often referring several family members. Our employees who made those moments happen deserve special thanks. So many stayed with us for so long. Our suppliers, vendors and trades people helped us operate at a peak level and our supporters in the city and in the neighborhood will never be forgotten.
Mazda Canada supported us and brought us into the fold as relative unknowns and we thank them for all their support and understanding over the years. It is another family we are saying goodbye to—for the time being. Mazda corporate, you have been just great and I will never forget it.
I am saying goodbye to the site on Yonge St. but not to you; you will hear from me in the near future, with additional plans. Thank you again. I could not have done it without you.

As a valued client of the Serpa Automotive Group, we’d like you to be amongst the first to know that after more than five years of operating Serpa BMW, we’ve sold the dealership to the Dilawri Group.
We are excited to announce the start of our exciting new venture, Serpa Automotive Boutique, located at Yonge and St. John in Aurora, where we will sell and service all makes and models of hard-to-find, in-demand luxury and other types of vehicles. At the Boutique, we will be devoted to saving the client precious time in vehicle leases and purchases.
Moving on from this dealership was not an easy decision, because we’ve enjoyed getting to know you, our fantastic, supportive client. Sometimes in the life of a business, you do have to make changes for many compelling reasons. This is one of those situations. We are thrilled to be going to another venture that will best fit the Serpa Automotive Group’s plans for growth and expansion.
When we arrived on Mulock Drive in April 2012, much work was needed to upgrade and modernize the dealership and bring our own brand of Respect Trust Enjoy to Newmarket/Aurora. We believe we have accomplished all that we set out to do.
It has been an honour to be the BMW dealer of choice in this area. Helping the brand grow and gain acceptance over that time and providing our type of excellence in client service has been a satisfying experience for me, my family and my valued employees.
As some of you know, we are now operating Serpa Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM SRT in Toronto at 401 and Kennedy Rd. We invite you to visit us and learn about these great vehicles, Jeeps and RAM trucks and look forward to continue serving you. You will find that the spirit of the Serpa Automotive Group lives on there.
